Sunwood Square Shopping Centre

The 220,000 square foot shopping centre in Coquitlam, undertaken on a joint venture basis, is the home of the first Safeway Superstore in Canada.

It was built in 1986 by a group affiliate in a record time of 11 months.

Traditional in design, it has been a major catalyst in the growth of the area.
